Rockingham Pecans are always a hit and make a great gift anytime!
About Us
We are a family owned and operated business that is based on the Christian premise that God blesses hard work and prayer.
In January or early February we take a soil sample each year to determine what the pecan trees need to be healthy and productive. After the sample is taken and an analysis is made, the appropriate fertilizer is applied.
After bud break, spraying of the trees is imperative. We spray our trees according to need every 14 to 21 days. Spraying is usually required until at least the first week in August when the shell has hardened.
Our trees are also kept with the right amount of moisture to make sure the trees are healthy and the nuts are completely filled out.
In a nutshell, we have found out that soil samples, spraying, watering and a lot of prayer makes for a good pecan harvest.
